ABOUT KATHLEEN DAY & THE 5OUTA5 MISSION
Meet Kathleen
People often ask how I became an efficiency expert. The truth? I’ve always had a natural drive for simplifying complex situations. My journey started in second grade when I created 48-hour schedules for my parents, who ran a chaotic plumbing and heating business from our home. Even though they didn’t follow my plans, my passion for organization only grew.
Over the years, I took on roles that honed my skills, from designing databases on Wall Street to rewriting training manuals for a national custom closet company. As an event manager, I coordinated teams, exceeded client expectations, and mastered the art of turning chaos into order.
In 2011, I officially became a professional organizer, leveraging the skills I had developed to help others. After years of refining my methods, I launched **5outa5** in 2017 with a clear mission: to help clients achieve peak performance without stress, using simple, effective methods that lead to lasting results.
THE PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is simple: Your back office operations either work for you or against you. I understand that carving out the time to figure out the fix is hard. The solutions seem complex and time-consuming, so it might take more bandwidth than you have available.
I get it.
Call me a geek ( I am), but I get very excited about helping clients build optimal solutions with so much ease and velocity.
Plus, I do it with you. I believe that a done-with-you method is the most effective means to not only learn the process but also get traction and practical experience fast.
I partner with clients to transform their operations from chaotic to coordinated. My programs aren’t just about getting organized—they're about staying organized with minimal effort.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Each program delivers a transformational intervention. The process is intuitive, which makes it easy to learn, remember, and use. There are astonishingly simple approaches that work rapidly to provide:
A shift from disorganized chaos to strategic coordination
Confidence that your decisions align with your personal best performance
The energy and focus to take bold, effective action
The calm that comes from making consistent progress
